  1. Lake Naverone

At Easter this year we spent a few days as the lovely Lake Naverone. This is a son I wrote about that experience.

Lyrics

Its six am the sun is rising
The mist is floating on the lake
It lifts its veil long enough for you to see
The shimmering of the day

The first sweet moments of the day unfold
The quiet like a whisper creeps
Time stands before you hours come and go
And open up the space to dream

By yourself but not alone
When you're out at Naverone
Easy like when you're at home
Lake Naverone

You can’t imagine somewhere so beautiful
Could be outside your door
Nothing can take away those memories
Find the peace you're looking for

By yourself but not alone
When you're out at Naverone
Easy like when you're at home
Lake Naverone

Something deep inside of you says that
This is the right thing to do

By yourself but not alone
When you're out at Naverone
Easy like when you're at home
Lake Naverone

You pack your bag stop for one last look
Egyptian geese slip past
You sadly walk away with sorry footsteps
The time has come to say goodbye

By yourself but not alone
When you're out at Naverone
Easy like when you're at home
Lake Naverone
